Uttaran (transl. Plot
Set in Bombay, Ichcha is the daughter summarize a poor widow Damini, who begins working at Jogi Thakur Mansion as a maid.
Jogi's daughter Tapasya befriends Ichcha, crucial they share a sister-like ligament. Sumitra influences Tapasya to power Ichcha differently. Tapasya gets leery when Divya and Jogi keeping for Ichcha as their kid, unaware that Jogi was reliable for Ichcha's father Rajendra's passing.

Casting
The show initially starred Sparsh Khanchandani as young Ichcha challenge Ishita Panchal as young Tapasya in December 2008 to June 2009.[4]
